About Us
Dear Customer
The business started in 1967 when my grandmother went into a wheelchair, the tassels of a travel rug got caught in the wheels. This prompted my father who was a master tailor) into making a cover for his mother to offer her warmth, and protection from the elements. Her first trip down Bridlington promenade resulted in requests for a further three covers. The first wheelchair leg wrap was a commercial success and a business was born.
Our mission statement was as true then as it is now. 'To meet and exceed the high standards that you expect from us.', if we fail please let us know!
Necessity, innovation and customer feedback have all been key factors in moulding our current product range, from 3 items in 1984 when I took over running the business to over 700 that we now offer. We are pleased that customers have taken the time to contact us with ideas, thoughts and constructive criticism, this feedback is essential to us for fine tuning what we offer to you. Our in-house R & D and manufacturing departments mean that we can respond rapidly to the changing demands of our customers.
Richard, a member of the 3rd generation is now running our overseas office to ensure that we can take advantage of the worldwide market, bringing you the finest quality products at the most cost effective prices. We make no apology for not offering the cheapest items in the market. Our products are sold throughout the country by a network of caring professional retailers, you may check our website to find your local retailer.
